Taiwo: the defender has been capped 48 times by Nigeria.
Rangers seal Taiwo signing
QPR have signed AC Milan defender Taye Taiwo on loan until the end of the season.
The Nigerian has found chances limited at the San Siro after joining the Rossoneri from Marseille in the summer.
He becomes Mark Hughes’ first signing at Loftus Road.
Hughes told the club’s official website: “I have known of him for a long time and admired him from afar.
"To get him now is a fantastic coup and a real statement of intent that we can attract the quality of player that he is. I am looking forward to working with him."
Rangers are in FA Cup action on Saturday when they face London rivals Chelsea in round four.
Hughes’ side are available at 5/1 with Bwin and Ladbrokes to take the victory while the Blues are a general 8/13.
