De Bruyne: the midfielder has won two senior caps.
Blues eyeing De Bruyne move
Chelsea are understood to be edging closer to bringing Belgian midfielder Kevin de Bruyne to the club.
They have entered negotiations with the player’s club Genk about a deal to take the 20-year-old to Stamford Bridge.
A spokesman from the Belgian champions said: “The expectation is that (the deal) will be finished this week.”
De Bruyne impressed when the sides met in the Champions League group stages earlier this season.
The Blues are in FA Cup action on Saturday when they travel to QPR in round four.
They are generally available at 8/13 to take the victory with Bwin and Ladbrokes making the visitors 5/1.
Andre Villas-Boas’ men are 9/2 to favourites to win the competition.
