Davis: took over from Dario Gradi in November.
Trio return to boost Alex
Crewe have been boosted with the news that a trio of first-team players should be fit enough for this weekend’s clash with Wimbledon.
Adam Dugdale, Byron Moore and AJ Leitch-Smith have missed the last couple of games through injury and suspension, and will provide manager Steve Davis with a welcome headache.
"Duggy is fine now he has served his three games. Byron has a great chance of being fit for Saturday, as does AJ," Davis told the club's official website.
"It will be good to welcome those players back, because we will need them with a lot of games coming up."
Loanee James Tunnicliffe has temporarily returned to parent club Wycombe for treatment on his injured shoulder.
"Wycombe have insisted he goes back down there, but that is fine because he is their player," Davis said.
"He will go for an MRI scan to see if there is any damage to the bone but will be back on Thursday because he wants to do his rehabilitation with us."
Apart from that, Davis should have a full squad to choose from this weekend.
The Alex have been performing above expectations this season and find themselves well set for a push for promotion, lying in tenth place, just five points outside of the play-offs.
Crewe are at 5/2 to win, with Bet365, and are available at 12/5 with Ladbrokes, SkyBet and Victor Chandler.
