Robinson: will be without the defender for four matches.
Mackenzie sorry for red card
MK Dons defender Gary MacKenzie has apologised following his dismissal for a head butt on Charlton’s Yann Kermorgant in Tuesday night’s 2-1 defeat at the Valley.
The centre-back was given a straight red card after he clashed with the Addicks striker just before the break with the game tied at 0-0.
The visitors went on to concede two penalties - both converted by Johnnie Jackson - before half-time and despite Dean Bowditch’s late strike the Dons were unable to snatch a point.
Speaking to BBC Three Counties Radio afterwards the 26-year-old said: “I'd like to apologise to my team-mates and my manager and the fans.
“I made a good clearance and then I was kicked on the ground and when I confronted the player he head butted me and I retaliated which obviously was wrong.”
Manger Karl Robinson will have to do without the defender for Saturday’s match with Oldham at Stadium:MK where they are 4/6 with Boylesports to take the points.
The visitors are available at 11/2 with Bet365 while Coral offer the best odds on the hosts securing promotion at 12/5.
