MK Dons v Bury
MK Dons won for the first time in six games on Saturday as they thumped Oldham 5-0.
Daniel Powell was the star of the show, striking twice for Karl Robinson’s side.
The challenge for the Dons now is to seal their place in the play-offs. Currently fifth, a top two spot looks unlikely; they are currently ten points adrift of Sheffield United.
Defender Gary MacKenzie remains suspended for the hosts.
Bury boss Richie Barker was critical of his side’s slow start as they went down 3-2 at Exeter.
The Shakers were two goals down after just nine minutes and although they pulled one back later in the first period they were 3-1 behind at half-time.
They are now winless in four league matches but did manage a 1-1 draw at Charlton late last month.
The Lancashire side have slipped into the bottom half and are out of the play-off race.
The Dons have been unconvincing in recent weeks but returned to form at the weekend. That success should give them the confidence to brush aside Bury on Tuesday.
Verdict: MK Dons 3-1 Bury
