Jutkiewicz: equalised for Boro with his first goal for the club.
Sessegnon seals it for O'Neill
Stephane Sessegnon scored an extra-time winner as Sunderland finally saw off Middlesbrough in Wednesday night’s FA Cup fourth round replay.
The 27-year-old swept home from 12 yards to hand his side a 2-1 victory at the Riverside and set up a home tie with Arsenal.
Jack Colback had put the visitors ahead in the first half, striking into the top corner to land first goalscorer odds of 22/1 with Boylesports and Coral.
At that stage Paddy Power were offering an in-running 1/5 on an away win but Tony Mowbray’s men equalised through Lukas Jutkiewicz after the break.
Neither side took their chances in the remainder of normal time and after 15 minutes of extra time the clash looked destined for penalties. But with just seven minutes left on the clock Sessegnon pounced after Conor Wickham had seen his effort blocked.
Martin O’Neill’s side can now be backed at 12/1 for the crown, with Victor Chandler and William Hill offering 14/1.
Result: Middlesbrough 1-2 Sunderland (AET)
