Hill bags Smith loan
Barnsley have further bolsted their midfielder options with the loan signing of Norwich's Korey Smith.
The 20-year-old arrived at Oakwell on a one-month deal, and joins fellow midfielder Michael Tonge in giving manager Keith Hill cover for the injured Jacob Butterfield.
Smith featured 28 times for the Canaries as they clinched promotion to the Premier League last season, as well as making 40 appearances the season before in League One.
He has only played once this season, however, as injuries have restricted his availability.
He is likely to make his Tykes debut in next Tuesday's home clash against Derby, and Bwin chalk up Hill's men as 13/10 favourites to bag the three points.
